Before Winter

Last weekend, a bit of a hike rewarded us with a waterfall we enjoy visiting from time to time.  Its moods vary according to season, sometimes becoming a wall of ice several feet thick in cold weather, other times roaring with the water from a heavy rain, and yet always beautiful.  Naturally we will return from time to time to document the changing seasons.  In the meantime, the water will continue to tumble on down through a wild gulf and to the larger waters beyond.  Sometimes high, other times a mere trickle, but always inviting in its very wildness...
